Simple rule: Comments must be on-topic, objective, concise and professional in tone and language.

Comments are moderated, and all opinions and views are welcome. Moderation is necessary to prevent spam and malicious code from being inserted into this site. It is a measure taken to protect this site and its users and readers. Rest assured that all legitimate comments will be posted, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the views I express on this blog – you have my word on that.

Opinions expressed by readers are their own and are not necessarily the opinions held or supported by this site.

Also note that you must have Javascript enabled in order to enjoy the full functionality of the comments feature. Users who have Javascript disabled, may not be able to see or post comments. Creating a user profile is optional, but not required.

To post comments, you have various options:

• Simply fill out the fields marked name, email and URL (optional) and post your comment. No account registration or profile creation is required.
• If you have a Twitter, Facebook, OpenID, Typepad, Typekey, etc. account/profile, you can now use it to post comments here.
